Arrival in Beijing

Arrival at Beijing Airport from your home country and the start of your wonderful journey in China’s capital. Transfer from the airport to the hotel for rest.

Beijing

Visits: Tiananmen Square – Forbidden City – Temple of Heaven

Your guide and driver will pick you up from the hotel to begin your tour of Beijing’s major highlights. You will visit Tiananmen Square and the Forbidden City, located next to each other in the heart of the city, where ancient imperial heritage meets modern China. Afterwards, visit the Temple of Heaven, once used by emperors for ceremonial offerings.
Lunch at a local restaurant.

Beijing

Visits: Great Wall of China – Summer Palace

Continue your Beijing tour with a visit to the Great Wall of China at Mutianyu, one of the world’s greatest wonders, built without modern machinery. Enjoy walking along the wall and the stunning natural views.
After lunch, return to the city to visit the iconic Summer Palace.

Beijing → Xi’an by High-Speed Train

Visit: Hutong Neighborhood

Visit the historic Hutong district to experience the traditional lifestyle of old Beijing.
Then transfer to the train station for a 6-hour high-speed train journey to Xi’an.
Arrival in Xi’an and transfer to the hotel.

Xi’an

(Breakfast / Lunch)
Visits: Terracotta Army – Bell Tower – Gao’s Family Mansion – Muslim Quarter

Visit the world-famous Terracotta Army, the underground funerary city of the emperor. After lunch, return to Xi’an to visit the Bell Tower, followed by Gao’s Family Mansion to explore shadow art and paper-cutting traditions. End the day with a visit to the vibrant Muslim Quarter.

Xi’an → Chengdu by Flight

Visits: City Wall – Big Wild Goose Pagoda – Han Yangling Museum

Explore Xi’an’s major historical landmarks starting with the ancient City Wall, then climb the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, and visit the Han Yangling Mausoleum.
Transfer to the airport for your flight to Chengdu.
Arrival and transfer to the hotel.

Chengdu

Visit: Panda Keeper Program

A unique experience at Dujiangyan Panda Base where you will learn how to care for pandas, wash bamboo, prepare their food, and watch them being fed at close range—a truly unforgettable activity.

Chengdu → Chongqing by Train – Start of Yangtze River Cruise

(Breakfast / Lunch)
Visits: Jinsha Museum – Wuhou Shrine – Jinli Old Street – Yangtze River Boarding

Visit Jinsha Museum to learn about the ancient Shu civilization, then Wuhou Shrine dating back to the Three Kingdoms era, followed by Jinli Old Street to enjoy Chengdu’s local snacks.
Transfer to the train station for a 1.5-hour ride to Chongqing.
Arrival and direct transfer to board the Yangtze River Cruise at 9:00 PM.

Yangtze River Cruise

Visit: Fengdu Ghost City

Enjoy morning activities such as Tai Chi classes, followed by a visit to Fengdu Ghost City with its ancient designs and statues representing the afterlife.
Return to the ship and enjoy onboard activities.

Yangtze River Cruise

(Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner)
Visits: White Emperor City – Qutang Gorge – Wu Gorge – Shennv Valley

You may choose an optional tour to White Emperor City or relax on the ship.
The cruise will pass through the stunning Qutang Gorge and the famous Wu Gorge.
After lunch, disembark for a visit to Shennv Valley.
Return to the ship to enjoy the evening entertainment.

Arrival in Yichang → Shanghai

Visit: Three Gorges Dam

Upon arrival in Yichang, visit the magnificent Three Gorges Dam, one of the largest hydro-engineering projects in the world.
Then transfer to the train station for a 7.5-hour high-speed train to Shanghai.
Suggested hotel: SSAW Boutique Hotel Shanghai Bund.

Shanghai

(Breakfast / Lunch)
Visits: Shikumen Quarter – The Bund – Yu Garden – Jade Buddha Temple – Lujiazui – Shanghai Tower

Discover the balance of ancient and modern Shanghai: explore the old Shikumen neighborhood, Yu Garden, and then the futuristic Lujiazui area, including Shanghai Tower.
An evening stroll along The Bund will be a magical experience.

Departure from Shanghai

Transfer to Shanghai Airport for your flight back home, ending your journey with unforgettable memories of China.
