Rio de Janeiro

On arrival in Rio de Janeiro you will be transferred to the hotel. Rio is famous for its green hills, blue skies, beautiful bays, islands and stunning beaches. The best-known beaches are Copacabana, Ipanema and Leblon, famous for their black-and-white tiled promenades. You can enjoy many sports such as golf, tennis, surfing, diving, paragliding and more. Relax in seaside cafés with fresh juices and coconut water, and enjoy live local musicians at the beach.

Rio de Janeiro

Corcovado & Christ the Redeemer – 4 hours
You will take the environmental train through Tijuca Forest to the top of Corcovado where the 38 m high Christ the Redeemer statue stands — the symbol of Rio. From the summit enjoy panoramic views of the city, the Niterói Bridge, Guanabara Bay, the botanical gardens, Maracanã Stadium, Sugarloaf Mountain and more.

Rio de Janeiro

City tour & Sugarloaf Mountain – 4 hours
After breakfast, a half-day tour to Sugarloaf Mountain including:

• Stop at Urca Hill with its panoramic viewpoints and cafés/restaurants.
• Visit Sugarloaf for spectacular views of the city, Copacabana Beach, islands and the Niterói Bridge.
• Drive through the historic downtown to see churches, colonial buildings and the main cathedral.

Rio de Janeiro → Manaus

After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your flight to Manaus. On arrival you will be transferred to the ecolodge where full-board is provided.
Complimentary lodge activities may include:

• Evening boat tour to explore rainforest sounds and possible caiman sightings.
• Visit to a local community house to learn traditions, cassava preparation and rubber extraction.
• Non-professional fishing activity (e.g., piranha fishing) under guide supervision.

Manaus

You may choose any of the lodge activities listed on Day 4 to enjoy during the day.

Manaus → Salvador

Transfer to the airport and fly to Salvador, Bahia. On arrival transfer to the hotel. Salvador, the soul of Africa in Brazil, blends African rhythms, traditional dances and delicious cuisine — with great beachfront hotels nearby.

Half-day city tour
Visit Salvador’s highlights including:

• Views over Salvador Bay from Lacerda Elevator
• Stroll through Pelourinho (UNESCO World Heritage site)
• Visit São Francisco Church with its gilded interior
• Explore the historic Pelourinho square and colorful colonial architecture

Salvador → Praia do Forte (full-day)

After breakfast, full-day trip to the beaches of Praia do Forte for relaxation and seaside time.

Salvador → Foz do Iguaçu

After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your flight to Foz do Iguaçu. On arrival transfer to the hotel and enjoy a free day for rest.

Foz do Iguaçu

Visit the Brazilian side of the magnificent Iguaçu Falls, comprising 275 waterfalls, including the famous Devil’s Throat. The tour is shared with an English-speaking guide.

Foz do Iguaçu – Argentine Side

Cross Tancredo Neves Bridge to the Argentine side to view the falls from close range and explore the surrounding natural park.

Foz do Iguaçu → Rio de Janeiro

After breakfast, transfer to the airport for the flight back to Rio de Janeiro. On arrival transfer to the hotel.
